Co-Founder
Stephanie Zhao
Stephanie recently moved to South Surrey and White Rock, where she brings her passion for community service and commitment to making a meaningful difference. Before settling in the area, she spent nearly a decade working as a data scientist in the US. Alongside her technical background, Stephanie has extensive experience as an immigration and education consultant, helping individuals and families navigate complex immigration processes and unlock educational opportunities. She is dedicated to fostering a supportive, inclusive environment for both youth and seniors in the region.

Caleb Xu
Caleb has been a South Surrey resident since 2021 and has proudly served the Burnaby, Surrey, and Langley communities as an insurance broker and financial advisor for the past five years. A graduate of UBC with a bachelor's degree in economics, Caleb has been giving financial literacy seminars to the Chinese community in South Surrey and Langley since 2023, helping to educate and empower new Canadians in navigating the financial system. He is also deeply involved in his church, serving as an interpreter for Sunday messages, a speaker at basic truth classes, and a Sunday school teacher.

Stella Zhao
Stella has been a proud South Surrey resident for the past decade. She previously worked at PwC's Shanghai office and served as Financial Director and CFO for various companies. Stella is engaged in numerous volunteer activities and currently serves as a director at the Canadian Go Association and the Canada West Go Association.
Meet Our Youth Leaders

Ben Gong
Ben, a Grade 11 student at Southridge School, is passionately dedicated to volunteerism, actively engaging in a variety of community initiatives. He has a keen interest in music, and his jazz band has performed at multiple events, including the Christmas show at Peace Portal Senior Village and the White Rock South Surrey Spring Festival Gala starting in 2023. His involvement also extends to volunteering at SFU's summer camp and creating the promotional video for the 2024 White Rock South Surrey Spring Festival Gala.

Adam Gu
Adam is a Grade 11 student at Southridge School. He is passionate about music and the sciences. His decade-long involvement with the piano has taught him the importance of resilience. Adam's hobbies include playing music with friends, as well as engaging in board games like chess and Dungeons & Dragons. Outside of the classroom, he has discovered the value of sharing joy through music, volunteering, and performing at various venues. Looking to the future, Adam hopes to pursue a career in medicine, where he can make a significant difference in people's lives.

Francis Sun
Francis Sun is a Grade 9 student at Pattison High School in Downtown Vancouver. He recently relocated from Montreal, where his involvement in volunteering at senior homes and participating in the Hope for Dementia Intergenerational Learning Program was profound. There, he assisted seniors with dementia in using tablets and digital applications, efforts which significantly reduced social isolation and kept them mentally engaged. Excited to further contribute to Vancouver’s community, Francis continues to support those in need. 、
